These terms govern bookings made with ThunderTaxi ("we", "us") through our website, WhatsApp, or by phone. By making a booking you agree to them.
Bookings & quotes
- Fares are quoted from the pickup, drop-off, and any stops you enter, based on the driving distance and the vehicle you choose.
- A quote is confirmed as a booking once you receive a confirmation from us by email or WhatsApp.
- Please make sure your pickup address, destination, date, time, and flight number (if any) are correct — we rely on the details you provide.
Prices & payment
- The price shown at booking is the fixed fare for the journey as described, inclusive of applicable charges.
- Extra stops, waiting time beyond any complimentary allowance, significant route changes, or additional distance may change the fare.
- Payment is arranged as agreed at the time of booking. Any tolls, congestion or airport charges that apply to your journey may be added where relevant.
Changes & cancellations
- To change or cancel a booking, contact us as early as possible by email or WhatsApp.
- Cancellations made well in advance are not charged. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a charge to cover the driver's time.
- We may need to reassign your driver or vehicle to an equivalent one; the agreed fare and service level are unaffected.
Airport pickups & waiting time
- We track arriving flights and adjust the pickup time if your flight is delayed, at no extra charge.
- A complimentary waiting period applies at airports; waiting beyond it may be chargeable.
Passenger responsibilities
- Please be ready at the agreed pickup time and location.
- The number of passengers and items of luggage must not exceed the booked vehicle's capacity.
- Behaviour that is unsafe or damages the vehicle may result in the journey being ended and a charge for cleaning or repair.
Liability
We provide our service with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for delays or losses caused by events beyond our reasonable control (for example traffic, weather, or road closures). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law.
