Information we collect
- Booking details: pickup and drop-off addresses, date and time, passenger and luggage numbers, vehicle type, and any flight number you provide.
- Contact details: your name, email address, and phone number.
- Payment details: processed securely by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
- Technical data: basic information your browser sends, used to keep the site working and secure.
How we use it
- To calculate fares, create and manage your booking, and assign a driver.
- To take payment and, where needed, issue refunds.
- To send booking confirmations and updates by email and WhatsApp.
- To respond to enquiries you send us.
Service providers we share data with
We share only what is necessary, and only with providers that help us deliver your transfer:
- Stripe — to process card payments.
- Twilio (WhatsApp) — to send booking notifications to our team and your assigned driver.
- Google Maps — to look up UK addresses and calculate trip distance.
- Your driver — receives the trip details needed to complete your journey.
How long we keep it
We keep booking records for as long as needed to provide our service and to meet our legal, accounting, and tax obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to restrict or object to how we use it. To make a request, email us at support@thundertaxi.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to make the site and booking form function. We do not use advertising-tracking cookies.
